I’M ON A HEALTH KICK 😂 In an attempt to get fitter I’m putting my old bike back on the road! I bought this bike in the 1990’s and it was pretty expensive and decent back then, let’s see how it copes now both of us are 25 plus years older!
As I keep reminding you all the channel is evolving, I want to be able to upload anything I fancy on here and treat it as a channel for memories and a diary, I’ll always put an honest thumbnail and title and you’ll be able to choose what to watch over unsubscribing from It, hopefully you’ll enjoy the variety I’m trying to bring and stay with me.

GT Pantera AL from 1992. The Frame is made from 7005 Aluminum. The frame is exactly constructed as the GT Zaskar frame but made from 7005 Series Aluminum instead of 6061 Aluminum. It was originaly sold with a mix of Shimano 500 LX an Deore LX compenents and GT Parts. The Pantera AL cost 1695 german Marks back in 1992.

7. Dream Bike Build Restoration - Blacked-out 1x10 '94 GT Ricochet
I love how this bike turned out. I love the blacked out paint and the polished fork. In the disassembly of the bike I wanted to try and restore the Judy XC fork but it was too far gone (I spent a few days trying to restore it without success). That said, I am totally stoked on how well the Answer Manitou EFC fork turned out after rebuilding and polishing it. I was surprised how light of a fork it is and how well, after 24 years it is still working well. Also, it was fun to put a 1x10 drivetrain on this bike using a used XT shadow plus rear derailleur.
